Waiting For Cooldowns is looking for 2 melee players for Heavensward

As the title states, Waiting For Cooldowns is looking for 2 melee players for Heavensward raiding. We will be raiding Alexander HM when it releases and as such need to fill in our current openings. Our current raid schedule is Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6:30 or 7:30pm CST to around 10-11 pm CST. These are flexible times and sometimes we start earlier or raid later, or raid another day if need be. These times may change in Heavensward once we find the schedule that works best for everybody.

Who we are

Waiting For Cooldowns is currently composed of 4 players that have been together since shortly after 2.2 released, another that joined in the middle of 2.2, and our sixth member joined shortly after 2.5 released. As such, we are less a group of raiders that see each other occasionally and more a group of friends that raid together. We would hope that the people joining would be interested in that as well.

What we have accomplished

Waiting For Cooldowns has currently cleared all current Binding Coil raids besides the Savage modes of the Second Coil of Bahamut. We were about 2 months behind server first on turn 9, coming in at server sixth, and about one month behind server first of turn 13, coming in at server fifth, so not terrible but still room for improvement if we decide to raid competitively with the Coeurl statics. All 6 members have cleared turn 6 Savage, 2 members have cleared both turns 7 and 9 Savage, and the group is currently working on turn 9 Savage as a whole.

What we are looking for

We need 2 melee that are/want to be great at their class and use the raids to prove it. This includes all aspects of play, from performing mechanics to raid awareness and improvisation to your ability to play your class. We don't ask that you be able to put out your highest potential dps, but if we feel you need to improve in this area we will work with you and point you to the players on server who can help you in this area (we do want GOOD dps after all)! We do, however, ask that you bring a strong ability to handle raid mechanics and an ability to learn relatively quickly.
