    Yet another "Unable to complete version update" thread

    I recently had to restore my PC due to some nasty business with drivers, and upon reinstalling and updating XIV today I was treated with a single session of play. When trying to log in after exiting, I was given the seemingly all-too-popular, "Unable to complete version update [30426] [19900] [740]". Since then, I've tried to do a bit of searching on the internet to find a solution to the problem. I've reinstalled the game, verified the cache on Steam, and even went into the config files to try and match the two different patches for the game and boot processes separately. I've also had a look around my system, I don't have a process that could be blocking it, and I have also allowed the game through my Firewall. It's all looking a bit hopeless. Any help would be appreciated.

    [EDIT]: Strangely enough, it decides to work now. The one thing I did differently? Run the boot.exe as admin. Welp, thanks anyway!
