    New methods to deal with boredom by dps

    After gearing healer, I'm now on gear-the-tank duty. About 115 so far.

    I start to see in high level duties, more and more dps whose unique scope in the duty is (try to) get aggro away from me. Really.

    If I mark 1-2-3, they ignore 1 at all and go to other mobs, making sure a dps target one mob, and other dps targets another mob, with max effort and burning cds too.

    As long as I am no blind, will change where to mount aggro, but it is quite annoying, and 115 vs 130 it may happen they also sometime succeed.

    Sometime will find the healer type that plays the "lets see how low I can make the tank hp" game, well dear healer at least try to save appearance and set up cleric so I can may think you busy on dps, but it don't happens, just stay still and look at my hp goin down. Too bad sometime the game fails. Will not put hallowed on cd for your fun on trash mobs. Eat the mobs, I will take my time to respawn, maybe after you wiped (possibly).

    Is that really going to be the norm, or just DF rng have fun with me giving me that ppl...

    Don't mark. @50 it's AOE central, just pull and keep aggro on everything (Flash/Overpower). Post-50 is completely different from pre-50 unless you tried DD first room farms, in which case that's pretty much how post-50 works.

    If a healer is letting you drop out of cleric, it's either their fault or you're not popping CDs. I'd say it could be gear as well, but your gear seems fine. Only Hallowed if you're super low and your healer isn't already casting a heal, otherwise just pop a big CD (Bulwark/Sentinel). If it's the healer, then you won't run into too many afk healers - you'll run into a lot who DPS, but they're ~usually~ the good ones.

    Yeah, marking is pointless in dungeons. The "I'll try to steal aggro/try to see how low the tank's HP can go" game, however, I don't usually come across.

    Yep, usually I don't mark at all and dps is "kill whatever you want but kill", it is just the few cases I'd like something die first that makes me headaches and pretty ignored. If a blm is in, it is aoe feast so no problem. But cases with two melee dps is the thing. I also guess they premade, df usually tries to have 1 ranged 1 melee.

    What makes me wtf is when a dps pulls, I will provoke, and a second after the same dps pulled again. He is doing it on purpose, change target dammit, there are other 5 hundreds mobs here on me

    Edit: maybe the thing is about my weapon, I'm thinking that 115 vs 130 dps that knows its job it is normal I have pulls every now and then. Lets see when I change it...

    The lost art of tank marking. It made dungeons smoother, especially when you ended up with 2 mellee.

    Actually had a tank who was levelling ask me if i wanted to tank too because i marked kill order in a Low level dungeon. Response was no thanks already done that lol.

    Marking is so old fashioned, just pull everything, AOE like crazy, and by the time you're down to the last three or four mobs and it becomes worth going single target, you should have such a threat lead that nothing's getting pulled off of you whatever order they get killed.

    Anything low level, let the DPS peel mobs off you if they want, they'll either get the message or die sooner or later, and you'll get aggro back one way or the other.

    Don't worry in 3.0 there will probs be stuff to hard to just aoe mass pull zerg so marking will become a thing again.

    The 1 mark might return to focus down something or if it needs to be CC'd, but can't see single target returning for the most part. Still going to have a lot of AOE madness.

    Nah, what's gonna happen is that all dungeon monsters will gain a multiplicatively stacking buff when in large enough groups. Every monster above the 4th in a group doubles the damage of the entire group(meaning that 5 = 2x, 6 = 4x, 7= 8x, etc.). It'll be called 'Increased Morale'.

    Or maybe SE will just make dungeon trash tough for once in their lives. Discourage mass pulling naturally, without having to put walls in the way and such.

    I'd laugh so hard if they add a monster in each mob tha will apply vulnerability stacks that will severly reduce the tanks def lol.
    So the tank cannot tank more than 1 mob at a time XD.
    Or just make things hit as hard as fcob trash so yea.
