
Without rushing to the Batraal there would be no time to defeat him, perhaps if they gave time extensions for killing certain random mobs like Dynamis did this would not be an issueStill? I've already begun =D

1st what im thinking about is an event that does not finish after 20 days like the raids
raids problem is that after what u get all the items, what is the point of doing it anymore
but, in dynamis since its come out untill now ppl still doing it
cous they need something else beside armors they want RELICE/MONEY
thats why ppl keep doing it
but ppl stopped doing raids now
now i will tell u the idea
make 3 new dungeons, 1 in each nation
to enter the dungeon u need to get 2 items
this 2 items u can get them from NMs
the 2 NMs u can get them buy random pops or pop item or new way
when u enter the dungeon make the mobs high enough so ppl dont run through
and in the dungeon there r NMs, each has its strtgy to reach it, when u kill it u get box,
that box has money. items and time
and the final boss when u kill it u get items for ppl and another box give u item to enter new dungeon
and same for the other 2 dungeons
when u have the 3 item u can make dungeon in carthos or new area
to enter with 3 items u got from the 3 nations dungeon
with this new event we would like to have new things like:
1- the dungeon need more than a PT to finish so ppl can join and other members in LS can join
2- mobs give u seals points/coins/something new intersting so ppl dont quit when they get all what they want
3- last PLZ dont let us enter 1 mil times a day

I can't even begin to say how much I absolutely hate your idea.
he wasn't talking about the 'time limit' on the event itself, his point is clearly isn't that.
the OP meant events that u would still do because u will always need something from them, a huge example on that is dynamis, but he didnt really mean 'Let's have dynamis on FF14', just similar ideas.
IMO, instanced raids are such a failure, they were fun at the beginning, we got our gear 'yey!', the what?
It's like they were thrown out there to shut us up for a little while just like MANY of the new things they added.



He talked about events, that not finished after 20 days. In my opinion, 20 day is a bit to long for an event. 14 days (2 weeks) are good for events.
And wasn't dynamis in FF XI a normal content instead of an event?

Event = Christmas event, Valentines day event, easter day event, summer event, moon event, halloween event (something you can only do in a specific period of time)
Content = dungeons, quests, leves, grind (something you do every day in the year)

I'dsay two part event 19 days 14 for a normal.
