The statement is not an insult in any way. I was actually being generous with my time estimate.

One of the reasons for expansions is to keep current subscribers and to entice new ones.
With the gating of the xpac behind Ishgard without streamlining the 2.0-2.55 msq is a mistake on SE's part and will end up losing subs and deter new subs. I know several people who wont be re subbing or buying the xpac because of this.
