    New to level 50

So i just recently hit level 50 and i was wondering everyone's opinion on what should be done or would yield good benefits by doing once you dip your toes in the endgame pool?

Flag the relic quest and do as much as you can when you can. You'll proceed with it as you gear up and gain access to more things. The i80 (i90 with a little soldiery invested) weapon at the end of it is a good start.

Then unlock things. Mor Dhona will be awash in quest markers. Most of these will be dungeons, most of which you won't have immediate access to, but you'll want to do them when you can. Additionally you'll want to unlock the CT set of 24-man raids as soon as you can. These raids have low item level entry requirements and award gear that's useful to you right now.

Your most important task is to get gear. Do all your available roulettes every day and buy the i100 soldiery gear to rapidly increase your item level.

It can seem overwhelming at first, but just flag everything you can and do them as they come up.

Also proceed with the main story. You'll need an average item level of 90 to enter all the duties required, but it ramps up slowly. Heavensward is a little over a month away, but you definitely have time to finish the 2.55 story and be ready for it.

    Welcome to endgame.

Join a Free Company (FC). Any halfway decent FC should be assisting you with i70 or better crafted gear.
If you have already joined a FC but the crafters are asking for "significant" gil for these crafted items, then you should change to another FC.

That would be very nice but it shouldn't be expected and definitely isn't necessary.

Furthermore joining a new FC for the sole purpose of getting free stuff is just shady as hell.

The free stuff is the ancillary benefit of joining a nicer group of people. The receiving player should return the favours in other ways overtime. Pay it forward mentality.
Crafter sell at inflated prices on the MB, which fine, that is the free market. Any crafter charging near MB prices to an FC member is just a greedy jerk.

Lol well thanks for the input guys. I already have an FC that i helped grow, just not chalk full of endgame players yet. I do appreciate the suggestions though. I just wasn't sure how to unlock all the relic quests and soldiery armor and hard mode dungeons and all this good stuff i keep hearing about but i will keep questing around some new areas. As far a Duty Roulettes go at lvl 50, maybe i just don't have enough storyline done but i only have the same low level stuff as before an it awards me xp which is now useless? I've been savin em all for my WHM instead.

As for progression, have you completed the main story line? Defeated The Pretorium and subsequent story quests?

If not that should be your priority because once you do, as Callinon stated Mor Dhona will have several quests available. This is where you get access to all the lv50 dungeons, completion of each dungeon will yield first time completion bonus of Soldiery, which you will use to purchase i100 gear. Additionally, join Hunt parties in your Party finder, this will grant you Allied Seals, which also can be used to purchase i100 gear from your Grand Company Hunt Billmaster.
Then work on the Legacy of Allag quest line, this will unlock the Crystal Tower, which is 3, 24 player raids; Labyrinth of the Ancients i80 gear, Syrcus Tower i100 gear + Sands and Oil of Time to upgrade i100 soldiery gear to i110, and finally World of Darkness i120 gear.
Completing all three will grant a once a week quest Gift of Archmagus to upgrade i120 poetics gear to i130.

If you've finished the 2.0 story you should also have the Main Scenario roulette available to you which awards 120 soldiery unless there's a new player in there (almost every time) and then it awards 220.

If you haven't finished the 2.0 story, you should do that next as it gates just about everything else behind it.

I think the main things to do is unlock all roulettes, because they are the best source of gear currency with dailies, at least until you manage to static a group for farming them elsewhere.

Complete the Main Scenario and the Hildibrand questlines is a must, they will unlocks a good number of duties you need for roulettes.
