I don't believe it is a legit complaint unless I see some sort of proof of it. There's only one person on these forums that consistently complains of cheating and that's the person that posted right before you.

Oh the cheating is legit in slaughter. Bots people sent out out others teams that go straight to the opposing teams jump pad point just to be killed over and over. I noticed this because i heal FLs and every time this Oooooooooo guy (thats his actual fujukin name) would go help with mid for the 1st node pop then his not around for the rest of the game. Wondering why cant i see him on mid why the fujuk is he dieing so fukukin much. Checking the map hes going to flame Op just to be killed. Over and over. They do the same with healers send a healer so ppl think is ok to go dps. Then the healer doesnt heal the whole match. Dont think SE will do anything about it. They never do anything anyway.

Meh rage quit when i got i to a 72 man slaughter as a healer and i get all melee dps. I ask can someone help me heal, no answer. Then i proceeded to tell them that they have under 4k health and wipl mostlikely die with just one healer so get ready for it. The game starts we go to mid as usual im actually doing a good job healing them all but this janky nin health plumits and he rages that i didnt heal him. Now... Wtf did i just say befor the match? I tell him i got 7 melee under decent hp levels for slaughter to heal. I cant save u all. He proceeds to call me bad healer for not healing him when he when from 3.7k to 0 health in and instant (probably got lbed) . At that point i just said fujuk it and was about to leave but we already lost. If i could have rage quit then i would have.

I think sometimes rage quitting is like the polite thing to do. Sometimes I see people raging the whole match about stuff they don't like and it makes them less effective. It's rare I get overly frustrated enough to quit but when I do it's because I'd be annoyed to the point of distraction otherwise. My example, maybe I wouldn't eat anymore full duration sleeps if I'd stayed. What I shouldn't have done though was commit suicide so I could quit.

It doesn't get me to the point I will rage quit a match considering it takes quite the while to get matches but PLDS. That's it...if I come out of a match annoyed it's because of them and there stuns and I agree with the previous post it's normally when I'm about to land a killing blow ^-^

I know i bash FL alot because the only good mode is pretty much dead now, but can someone tell me: Is this complaints of cheaters actually legit or is it people that dont understand the game complaining when they die (considering 99% of fl players are awful, the gamemode was designed around them, thi is most likely the case in my eyes)

There are even videos from it, so of course. But it's also typical, that people are playing the 3 apes, when it comes to such things. Hacks in MMOs are as old as the genre itself, still people always ask the same question: "What hacks?", as if they are newborn babies of the gaming world. Of course, people who are simply casual may have not heared anything of it, since they do their thing two times a week and don't care for anything else, but those people don't play PvP anyway.

When someone is pretty much immun to CC or knockback, while the attack obviously hit and without any message, there must be a hack or bug.
If someone is falling down the platform and suddenly is standing again on top of it, that's of course a tele hack, what else? It can't be even lag, that would not work like this. Same for people who stand on their team position, suddenly next to you and use limit break or whatever.
When someone is absolutely immun to any interrupt, this MAY be lag (which is a problem for itself, if lag actually helps you this way), but it's still strange, if this does not hinder this person at all to react to any damage instantly. But well...

Also people running faster than you can sprint. And so on.

Of course in this chaos you don't see a blazing like crying "CHEATING". You have to look out for such things. Since most people can't even take care of their own character...

Such example with people who feed the other teams on purpose are of course also cheater. See this often enough. Or when they team up from the start, and follow you together, not caring for each other. No normal behaviour...

Equanimity, Manawall, manaward, cover, surecast, stoneskin, galvanise all allow you to cast without interuption unless you get slept/stunned

If you get a message, not without a message and you can't get immun to knockback, it is no CC. By the way: this is also such a thing. CC which got no DR. Sleep: 15s 7s 7s 7s. Or 15s sleep and 10s later again 15s. Terrible bug.

Yeah, does not count all, because they did not have it and they GOT damage, just not interrupted.

Attunement, Tempered will, Holmgang all provide immunity to knockback (attunement doesnt provide actual immunity, it just gives you a huge chance to dodge the skills)

all casters have equanimity, sure and swiftcast, all healers have access to at least stoneskin, black mages have manawall and manaward

If they are half way through the cast when you hit them, odds are that they have already finished casting because latency isnt a strong point of ff14

You can get offended if you want to, but i've heard the same thing time and time again by people who don't really understand core skills of the game and who kick and scream at anything they dont like

for the record, surecast disappears the moment you start casting so that could be why you didnt see a buff vOv

I find it strange that you see this all the time, yet ive spent the past few months transferring from server to server to pvp with as many types of people as possible and i havn't run into this, you would have thought someone would have caught on and started using this in wolves den aswell but that seems to not be the case vOv

Not all the time. Just too often. And fine if you don't see it, lucky you or you just don't care for it at all. Who knows. Maybe they do it themselves. I know enough people who use hacks aso in all kind of online games and of course would never write this in a forum, many not even say it otherwise. It's nothing you could be proud of, so why telling it anyone?
