The drop rates were already increased. You can farm the extreme primals unsynced and complete Garuda in less than two minutes. The bird whistles were even put on a vendor. The mounts do not need any more increases in drops. As others have said, these are supposed to be rare, and they're not even rare anymore.

Farm a 10 year old raid solo for over 2 years for a pair of shoes for transmog/glamour and tell me drop rates suck. (I actually did this for the Ruby Slippers in WoW)

I think if you go minimum i level synched, the drop goes up 100% and you also get 4 or 5 drops at once instead of two.

So the option is available if you and 7 others can get gud.

Just do what my FC did; TEA time. We dedicated one day a week (I'd have liked to have done more days but time/work/life of other people) where 5-7 of us would go into primal EX and grind out the bosses, by about *maybe* the 26th week we all had our kirins. I found it the best way to do it, but make sure it's 5-7 people you know will be willing to remain in the group until every person has their kirin.

We're now moving onto the 60 primals.

they are not rare anymore, they are common since droprates have been nerfed like 5 times now.
