Not with PS4, find a friend who has a PC they can assist, can't tell you how though as its not supposed to be used.
how do pc users do it? is this ever going to be implemented in game so all platforms could use?
With a program that reads the log files FFXIV uses for battle. SE has a kind of don't ask, don't tell stance on them. They've posted world first clears on their own site, which clearly show groups using parsers, so yeah.
They want to try and implement something in game, so you console folks aren't out in the cold all the time, but they are worried it will be abused to harass players of lower skill ceilings.
yeah the abuse part you don't to increase it but it's kinda already happening. With a program that reads the log files FFXIV uses for battle. SE has a kind of don't ask, don't tell stance on them. They've posted world first clears on their own site, which clearly show groups using parsers, so yeah.

Yes you can with the battle log but it's a pain and only a reference not an actual average. Hopefully SE makes it so that people can see their own damage numbers in the future. There is little to no reason to not have this at this point.
can they make a parser for striking dummies? so that while you are practicing on a dummy it tells you how much damage you have done and how long?
