Currently on Diabolos and the place is toxic. I truly regret moving here for a friend of mine. I miss Sartaganas so much. I would head back but it is such a hassle when you are over their gil transfer cap by a good margin.

I give it a 5.
The few people I've come to know are awesome, but on a general level... It used to be great. Then somehow it turned into being ignored and shunned, despite my own efforts/willingness to help out where I could. In addition, all the people in parties who continue to talk in French or German despite the group being clearly multi-lingual and thus communicating in English, and themselves obviously having English flagged as their own language and understanding it... It's downright rude. And no, I don't mean strategy/mechanics explanations here.

Lamia. THE place for RL families. Its also very crowded. Tldr- I hate this server. I'd rate it an abysmal -8.

Play on Ultros, was on Hyperion previously when I first started.
Ultros has a pretty nice community I've been finding, helpful and friendly enough, though pretty average compared to other MMO's I've been on (but not in a bad way, it's just comparable with other communities). Hyperion was pretty alright as well, but I've not been on it since release. DF has been a mixed bag, but I meet more friendly players than not, and I think that would best describe my experience with this game. I will also note that instances in FFXIV are more social than other games I've been finding.

I came from admantoise nice server but I needed a denser population. Now on balmung and I like it. Pf is never empty and open zones always have people in it. Not to mention rpers tend to be nice people. 8/10 for game wide community. The amount of people that say no to things for the sake of saying no brings the game down some.
Are you talking about me mugiawara? You are close to me too lol jk

Again, middle of the road. It's a 5. There's a lot less openness in ARR than there are in other games I've played. I think it's largely because everything is instanced, so there's very little interaction between players outside of party finder. When in a dungeon party, most people don't even speak and I've had some absolutely rude responses when trying to strike up a casual conversation.
That said, I've also met some wonderful players which are the reason I keep playing. Sadly, because of the generally anti-social nature of the game, it feels unwelcoming. The people who say nothing at all, and those who are outright rude eventually blend into one non-socialite category, overshadowing the few nice players.

From Masamune here, so JP server. I give it an 8/10. The community, not just on my server, but on my data center is very nice. I almost never run into trolls or even angry people. And you may be surprised how large and supportive the English speaking community is.

Ultros here. I'd give it a 5. I've had neither any particularly great nor terrible experiences. Just been pretty meh I guess. Gets pretty packed during prime time so I'm actually thinking about moving somewhere else before Heavenswards as I'm not one for crowds...even virtual ones for some really odd, strange, inexplicable reason.
