Notification sound for friends circle only (ignore Gillseller forever)

Sorry for bad English, but you should understand my point.

I have been bugged by how many /tells I've been getting from gillsellers, at least 30 /tells a day. What bugs me the most that I am mostly away from my keyboard either watch TV or working around while waiting for Duty Finder, so I do hear sound for tells, but whenever I return to see who send me text, it turns out to be a gillseller most of the time.

So I have came up with a solution that will make gillseller text is less important or noticeable by providing a special new sound notification that only will guarantee to the player that the text came from non-gillseller.


The new notification should play sound when receiving tells only from players that in friendlist, Free company and the linkshells. In other words, people in player's circle connection.

I know if this feature exist now, many people will disable the sound notification for general tells since it's been use mostly by gillseller.

However, gilsllers might try to randomly add people to friendlist, they actually do right now by naming themselves for the website they are advertising for. Allow to disable friendlist request by strangers "Anyone not from Free company or Linkshells" cannot send friend request unless they send tell to a player and that player goes to option and enable friends.

I believe these feature will help to fight gilseller and ignore them.

Something needs to be done about this soon before 3.0 comes out and lots of new players are harassed by the RMT spammers and bots. Good ideas though for me I turned off tells, set myself to busy and set up a linkshell to talk with friends. I am going to see if setting my status to busy will block friend requests also, not sure if it does.

If you set to busy status, you cant get tells, friend requests or party requests.
