Are we really complaining about an item level sync on dungeons whose only requirement is being level 50? Even at i110, they get utterly destroyed. It wasn't really any different at i120+ than it is at i110. Things still die fast.

They talked about adding in some kind of option where you can queue for a dungeon with a much lower ilvl sync, more in line with the actual minimum ilvl requirement for the dungeon, as some sort of "challenge mode". Not sure if there will be any incentive to do it that way or not (I would hope that there is, otherwise it will never get used)
To me, the only reason they'd even consider adding something like that is to attempt to placate the people who want a degree of challenge left in their old content, which to me further indicates they're going to stop bothering with this arbitrary ilvl cap nonsense in the future. But, that's just my guess, and they might end up doing something entirely different.
