Ok, so here's what you'll need.

1. 1/2 Cup heavy whipping cream
2. A Jar
3. Carrot slices (optional if you want the butter to be yellow)

Step 1:
Pour the heavy whipping cream into your jar and secure with a tight fitting lid. You can add the carrot slices if you want the butter to be yellow, otherwise it will be more white.

Step 2:
Shake the jar for 20 minutes (it's gonna take some effort!) Once the butter has solidified, pour off the buttermilk and store.

There you have it! old fashioned butter

Ok so now that you have the butter you're ready to make some Garlic Butter Sauce!

Here's what you'll need.

1. 1/3 Cup Butter (we just made this!)
2. 1/4 Tablespoon Dried Basil
3. 1 Clove Crushed Garlic
4. 2 Teaspoons Dried Oregano

Step 1:
In a small saucepan melt butter, add garlic and saute until cooked. Add dried oregano and dried basil and stir until heated through.

Step 2:
Eat!
