Fantasia Potion Quest?

Wouldn't it be great to have a Fantasia quest that we could do to get a repeatable Fantasia? I understand they have them in the Mogstation but that should be for people willing to spend money to skip the grind AND there is a finite number that can be bought so you don't want to do this too often.

But with a repeatable quest you could effectively have as many as you want. Of course, to keep things reasonable, I think the quest could be gated to only work once every 3-6 months or so. And it'd be a very extensive grind involving a lot of dungeon runs, monster kills, FATEs, etc. Make it as annoying as you want it to be, but at least let there be another option other than just the Mogstation and that first Veteran reward.

Or they could just remove the finite limit on single purchase Fantasias.

I think it's just 10 USD per Fantasia per Character. I don't think alts get them just the one you send it to via the purchase.

Everyone was given a free Fantasia via Veteran Rewards when Female Roe & Male Miquote came around, another freebie was given for people whose characters existed in 1.0 at 2.0 release (didn't need Legacy status to get)

I'm assuming that with purchase of Heavensward or another veteran reward delivery we'll get another freebie

Alt as in, I have 5 Characters on the Same Server. Yea any one that met the "Freebie" Fantasian conditions got them, this was about charging for them via Mog Station. And Yes, It's 10USD for 1 Fantasia, 28 USD for 3 Fantasia, and 45USD for 5 Fantasia. But those Fantasia only go to one Character. If I have 1 main and 4 Alts on a server and buy 5 fantasia only one of them gets those five fantasia. the other four are SoL or need them purchased separately.

The "Purchase Limit" was when the item crossed to all characters on your account and you got a grand maximum of.... I'm thinking it was like 9 or 10, before you weren't allowed to purchase fantasia anymore.

before the early access for stormblood i used a fantasia potion to change my race for the ninja job and i had 2 fantasia potions left when i used 1 and the servers went down until june 16 2017 and i got back on and the potions were not in my inventory and one else have this problem

Well, in fairness, there are things for sale on mog station from events. It is possible that there could be an event in which a fantasia is a potential reward, but make it unrepeatable. You do the event, make it a long quest line at the end of which one possible reward is, say, a new hair style or a fantasia, and you have the choice.

And then later put the hair style up on mog station so the people who took the fantasia end up spending the money eventually anyway.
