Why Not Remodel the Summons?

Honestly though, when you look at the summons and the textures it's like you're back playing pokemon red on the gameboy.

i'd love it if the summons were the same exact models as in XI.

The dev team's argument is to "simplify" their presence (and reduce cpu/gpu processing power).

Same exact models as in XI, reduce them to sch fairy sizes, and im sold and I'll overlook the fact that the XIV smn kit is unoriginal.

A thousand times yes! I stopped playing smn because they annoyed me so much. The only good one is carbuncle and I'd choose that over the happy meal if I could.

Only thing I could think of to make this happen that would be lore appropriate would be.. linking the primal to your characters level, higher level the summoner the more primal-like the egi looks because they would have an increased aether availability and that is pretty much how primals and tempered things work. Or have it be a limit break where you very momentarily summon a primal-ish level egi then dismiss it after the attack
