About WoD all DPS in stomach.

If I'm going as a dps, I'm going in every time. I just want to get the fight finished, and those stomach things melt if people try to kill them. I hate seeing people wasting time killing Unknowns, letting more spawn. People standing outside, letting even more Unknowns spawn inside.

And OTs should pick up the Wolfsbanes definitely.

I've been doing WoD as SMN lately and every time I have to pretend to play as a third OT with Titan-Egi in belly or else at least 5 people die...>>

This baffles me how the 2 weak adds can kill 5 people in 30 seconds.

My favorite encounter was when I was MT, and both my healers died during the add phase. I died shortly after, and asked them what killed them, since I had snagged the first wolfsbane with a hatchet, and it was pulled off me by an OT. "dps was too low." I asked again what killed them, and got "dps not killing fast enough." Still baffled, I asked what mobs did damage to them that took away their HP. "the unknowns in the belly." Both healers in MT party entered belly, and somehow died.

Yeah, the only issue I've ever had with this strategy is the off-tanks not picking up the wolfsbanes and them nomming on all the healers faces.

All DPS + B in Belly is what I've always interpreted it to mean. A = Adds - A is the off tank and should be picking up the Wolfsbanes. C = Cerberus - main tank, and also C party should handle chains while A and B clean up adds after the DPS are all spit out again. B tank and healers go inside to support the full alliance's DPS teams.

That way, all DPS are still in the stomach and can mow down the stomach walls while the B tank holds the unknowns, and all DPS are still alive and healthy when spit out so they can go about dealing with chains and finishing off adds.

Except Cerberus stops eating after 8, so depending on your coordination B's healers and Tank going in mean that A and C's DPS can't go in, and you're just doing ABC normally (which is fine, though I prefer all in). Also that's putting a lot of trust in A's off tank (and healers) to grab wolfsbane (and keep tank up) when apparently half the people here need to use DPS controls on Wolfsbane to keep OTs alive, even when there's two of them to split damage between, with chainable CDs that last longer than stomach walls should be up, and six healers out to keep their HP up. . . if their posts are to be believed.

He gets full, so after he's eaten a certain number, he stops. Krylo just said 8 - which sounds too low, because there are 15 DPS in the alliance and that would leave 7 of them hanging outside. But there have been times I've gotten the message "Cerberus's hunger is sated" so he stops after snacking on at least some number.

I hate going into the stomach as MNK, but I do it anyway. I'd rather just sacrifice my stacks and make sure the one big mechanic of the fight is dealt with rather than staying outside, keeping my stacks, and having everyone inside magically die.

That said, it is extremely annoying when not every DPS goes in, there's no tank or healer, and I decide to pop a CD when the Unknowns spawn. Not even Fists of the Earth can save me. ; _ ;

Yeah, 8 does sound too low. It seems like I remember seeing more people then that in there....but yeah I don't run WoD much so I could easily be wrong.

But!!! What's even funnier than watching all DPS get eaten? The one guy who steps in the puke but didn't get Mini first...

The tank in party B should still be going into the belly if possible to hold the unknowns.

Generally when all DPS go in, you kill the stomach so fast that the adds barely get a chance to do much damage.

This is unfortunately only really true if the DPS are on top of things and get hit with the first Mini and get inside ASAP... which tends not to happen for a good number of them in any given alliance.

As long as some party goes in I don't care. I'll do either, but I get more of a kick fighting Cerberus.

Except that if you're not in the belly you really should be helping to kill those wolfsbanes (unless it's the second round, and Cerb is just a bit over 25%... if he's below 25%, attacking him any more is pointless)
