I admit, I lost faith. I did not believe that I would be capable of defeating Bahamut. much less in duty finder, with a group of strangers that spoke a language that I did not understand. When Bahamut was at his last 25%, my heart pounced so hard, my body shivered, and I could not control my tear. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced. It was a mix of hatred, love, sadness, joy,and pride that these tears represented. I knew I had to give it my all, for myself, and for the comrades I've lost along the way. This was the my greatest triumph in FFXIV, ARR. The joy that my lala felt expresses exactly how I felt, freed from my toil!

My favorite memory of Eorzea was the night my FC first really bonded while waiting for a long raid to que. We made a game out of defending our FC house from a Lincoln "ghost". The fun and laughter was a great reminder to me of why I love XIV, and why Eorzea is like a second home to me.

I remember what I was still very new to the game. Around level 20 I think. I had came back to the game after about a year absence after a friend asked if I had ever heard of it. After a server transfer, a few of her level 50 friends in game decided to lead us to Mor Dhona. They called it tradition. We even said dying on the way was supposed to be good luck. (I died three times, if anyone was wondering. Morbols.) I remember looking at all of the people in the High Allagan Gear and the Soldiery gear, the BiS at the time, and thinking, "I wonder what it'll be like to actually have business here."

Now I'm here even when I don't have business.

This spot wasn't even accessible at the time I joined, but you can see the Aetheryte and the Tower. Both of which every level fifty had seen countless times.

It was a huge accomplishment as an FC with less than 10 active members to buy our house shortly after the release of housing, even if it was small. For a few months, this was home sweet home.
