After dealing with family and friend loss, I started playing FFXIV. I met some amazing people and we formed a small sky pirate FC. The friends and adventures I had with them helped me become strong enough to face my real life issues and find myself again.

Games are at their most fun when you can do stupid things with friends. And I couldn't find too many moments that I was able to pinpoint with screenshots..


It was pretty horrifying seeing all of these things suddenly face someone the moment they entered the room.

Cookie's Capers! - Faerie Player Community Event
This screenshot is my most treasured memory of both Eorzea and the server I started in, Faerie.
It shows a player held event we planned for two weeks in which a full linkshell of players showed up for and participated!

The screenshot trumps over any battle shot or cute lalafell picture I've taken. It brings back memories of a community of great people, exciting experiences and old friends.

I have many fond memories of Eorzea, but the best part of it all was experiencing it with the love of my life.

My favorite moments in Eorzea are the peaceful ones. I play FFXIV with my husband, and exploring with him is my favorite thing to do in-game. In this screenshot, we had both recently hit 50 and were out doing the fun "Zombies Are People Too" quest together. We stopped along the way to take in the scenery.
