My fondest memory was the first time I saw this as I entered The Burning Heart for the first time. It was an amazing scene that both excited me and made me nervous, since my friends and I could finally see the end of the tunnel, with this majestic elder primal blocking the way. Description:

Though I chose to follow in the ancient path of White Magic through my initial travels as an Adventurer in Eorzea, a calling to follow the path of the Dragoon befell unto me. Alas, though my spear-wielding kin respect my strength and determination in following this path, I am often the laughing stock of passer-by who, shocked that my every Ring of Thorns is executed without faceplant, insist that I will be dead before long. Motivated to impress, I took to performing stunts at every opportunity. A perfectly timed dash of Diamond Dust transformed me from a wyrm-worshipper into a spider-man, hanging above the most extreme of Shiva's assaults. This moment is a testament to the olde tradition of Dragoons who serve as endless sources of entertainment to wandering bands of adventurers.

On September 2, 2013 our new chocobos help my wife and I share the wonder and awe at exploring Eorzea for the first time together. We'll never again be able to see Coerthas the same way we did that day, but we can look at this picture and remember.

I was not aware of the unicorn while I slowly leveled up my white mage. So it was a delight to be in the quest chain to rescue this iconic creature from the deadness of the fractured night. This was my most favorite surprise in the entire game. I rode the wind with my new friend from the woods of Gridandia to the rocky lands of Nathalan.

I doubt I can make a stronger bond with any other mount, even if it's from a call of a whistle dropped by false gods.

Sigmund and myself, together on our first day in A Realm Reborn. He had been in 1.0, I was just starting out. We were waiting on the first instance (it broke on the first day!) and just sitting around. We've come so far together, starting our romance in FFXI, and now we live together, playing XIV when we want. Thank you, Square Enix, for bringing us together!!

Oh how I remember that quest as though it was yesterday. Level 34, my first time to Camp Bronze lake. Being asked to check on some tourist, and oh by the matron when I found him... Every second of that quest was a wild ride, and I didn't want to get off. For the longest time I didn't think anything could top it. How could I have known it was just the start of things to come?

When I was a Lala, I gained a friend through fishing, we were done hanging out and we spent the end of a Eorzean day dancing, was a good ending.
