I've been playing this game for a little over a year now. Thinking back on all the great experiences I've had in that time, it was hard to pick just one thing to highlight in a screenshot. But the above is probably the best thing I can put into one image.

A few months ago, I met Mara Mhasi on the right here, and we hit it off doing the relic questlines together for our main jobs. We spent many long nights together chatting while doing alexandrite FATE grinds and light farming groups and discovered we had a lot in common. This past March we got bonded, and are planning on meeting in person this summer.
She's been a great companion to me and I think of her as the best of all the great memories I have of ARR; I look forward to exploring Heavensward with her soon.

It might sound weird because a lot of people think she's boring, but Kan-E-Senna is my very favorite NPC in the game, and has been since 1.0. I always thought she was really inspiring. Every time we had to visit the Lotus Stand in the 2.x saga, I would always be super psyched and run around and take lots of pictures because she's pretty and the Lotus Stand in general is pretty. Once 2.3 rolled around I tried to give her a hug...even before /hug existed! I hope we'll get to see more of her in the 3.x saga.

When the beta/early access came out, there was obviously a mad dash to burn through as much story as possible. Well, starting in Ul'dah we ran upon the quest where a member of the Scions will come to assist you. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a problem.. The quest was breaking and people couldn't enter it due to the crazy amount of people surrounding the NPC! So my husband and I got as many people as we could to form an line to the NPC. It amazed me how all of these people on Balmung actually listened to what we had to say and did it! Everyone made a line AND everyone in that line made it through to the next section of story! It was so awesome that the server came together like that. It's situations like this that make me happy to be a part of the FFXIV community and an adventurer in Eorzea.

Comment: This is a favorite endgame cutscene from the main storyline that I will cherish in my memories during my times in Eorzea. This time it involves my Warrior of Light character, as a Paladin, glamoured as THE Warrior of Light, wielding the Blade of Light, and the powers of the light. Now that's a lot of lights. I will be looking forward to the next chapter of the first FINAL FANTASY XIV expansion Heavensward.

Taken back in July of 2013. Excitedly exploring the post-Calamity (and now unfamiliar) Eorzea for the first time, I was surprised by and fell in love with the sight of the sun rising over the Burning Wall. Even with a toaster of a computer with settings turned down, Eorzea was (and still is) a beautiful place to behold! This map was quite a huge change from the old Thanalan that we were use to. Even today, I'll still AFK here to watch the sun rise. It's a reminder to stop and enjoy the sights of the beautiful land that we play and adventure in.

The first day in 2.0 when everyone was all leveling Arcanist and I rode out on my legacy chocobo ready to start enjoying 2.0 is one of my fondest memories.
