What made you stop playing ffxiv?

This is really only for people who have put the game down. So please only respond with the reason(s) why you put the game down. No requested changes, just what made this game no longer fun for you.

For me it was 3 main things.

1) Classes, even when i changed weapons it didn't seem like much changed. I didn't feel like much changed from archer to maurader to gladiator, most of the weapon attacks looked the same.
2) Finding gear, with the original market ward system it was impossible to find anything, and the gear selection didn't seem to vast.
3) The combat seemed pretty repetative, even when i was partied up with friends.

How is this thread helpful at all to the growth and positive feedback to help make the game better.. I mean really.. all I really see is you complaining about how much you hate the game. The forum pages were not created for this purpose... they were created to help improve the game.

The forum is for sharing ideas. And i'm curious to see why other people stopped playing. All i've done since this forum started was basically read someone's idea, then another person saying "no, its fine".. so i want to know why people stopped. Not just ideas.

Though if you were a true stalker you would see that there are a few ideas i like.

And yeah, i'm going to be complaining a bit until i see a change that makes me want to play this game. If you don't like that, then just skip by my posts. I promise i won't be offended.
