I've logged in maybe once in the last two months.

The main reasons I can't find the motivation.

    1. Absolutely no content. Repeating leves simply because there isn't anything else to do gets repetitive. Sidequests weren't yet available and I haven't been back to check on the current status of sidequests. From what I've read, they aren't anything to write home about.

    2. The main reason I left is because of the Market Ward situation. After spending a ridiculous two hours looking for a simple axe upgrade, any hope I had for the game vanished.

    3. Lack of class identity. Having to level up various classes to make one seemingly 'super class' takes away from the feelings of accomplishment and singularity that existed in games like FFXI. In FFXI, you could take comfort in bringing something exclusive to the party as a high level warrior/Sam/Drg or whatever. That doesn't seem to exist in the current class system.

    uldah wards crashing everyday

What made me stop playing was the fact that uldah wards crash multiple times a day. It almost seems intentional, like some resets it to clear the retainers out. After all this time they haven't fixed it. Just neglect, they must feel it's an unimportant aspect of the game. Neglect neglect..

    I stopped playing because:

    1) I could not find a decent group of people to party with for experience. The few good experience parties i got in were Japanese players mostly. I could never find anyone looking for a party with the search feature.

    2) I do not like the limitations of the guildleve system. I believe they could have improved guildleve having them scale in difficulty as you go instead of limiting you to 8 per day. That way people would eventually be forced to party to complete harder "quests".

    3) I did not feel immersed in the story. They could have more cut scenes or less for all i care but it seems to me that what is happening in the world was not made apparent and was just a dull buildup. I know SE is capable of a more thought out story line than this one.

i know allot of you support the armory system and i don't hate it BUT ffxi has the best class/job system i have ever seen in an mmo (and i have played quite a few). How could they scrap that and start over? I dislike how you can't switch from gladiator to conjurer and instantly have all attributes correlate with the new class.

I guess theres no reasoning when it comes to you. The game is free for a reason. Because it didn't live up to the hype and if they were to start charging people, I sure as hell would stop playing overall. What do you expect all of us to do to keep giving positive response to a game that isn't suppose to be free to play?

My main reason for not playing is lack of people online to party with. im not sure if its just my server (mysidia) or just not alot of ppl in general. if i could grind in groups often i would ocntinue playing because honestly they have fixed alot of issues since launch

The reason I stopped playing as much is because its not that I DON'T want to play but just thinking of doing crafting alone is going to take hours. I got a life to attend to. The reason why games like WoW is so popular is because its a easy game. Ppl can still have a life (for the most part) and not be left behind in the game.

I still play the game, but not very often. Reasons:

    1. Crafting - too boring/tedious to do
    2. Crafting - too much work to level all the skills I need to make a level appropriate weapon for my class.
    3. Combat - okay but there's not much to it nor much variety in it
    4. Content - missing. Having to wait 5-10 levels until you get to do the next story mission is too much and you can't even go to the other cities to see theirs
    5. GLs - not enough of them to do for the class I want to and they don't give you enough SP to mitigate the grind in this game
    6. Grind - that's all there is to this game in the end

No but seriously they just need to compile some of the crap we are throwing around and start some polls for us to vote on. that will put an end to this nonsense
