Casters have been nerfed way too much. Buff them back and nerf bards.

The interrupt rate for a blm is certainly op, it should perhaps still exist but with a much lower proc rate.

By sorting this out this would rectify the issue casters face (garuda/brd), there's nothing you can do to brd short of nerfing its dmg or adding gcd interrupt to its attacks. It should be left alone.

That being said scathe = DMG of a melee attack pretty much

A lot of the problems can be sorted by working together, brd sat there interrupting your healer? Mark 1 and all DPS burn them down

You're surprised that this is the kind of experience a casual player who is a caster would have in Frontline, a mode supposedly meant to appeal to casual players? Obviously it only appeals to hardcore PvP players (or... no one), but since it's trying to get casual people in there, this is how they are going to feel about it. I'm 0% surprised, and don't blame the players a bit. Anyone would see this coming a mile away.

I'm not a caster main, but i like playing BLM as a secondary/tertiary job.

Also, I don't really like nor fit in this casual vs hardcore labels...

But since you are being kinda blunt and labeling people, I'd like to point out that by looking at your lodestone profile and seeing that you are a "Poetic Princess"...
Without even any high allagan casting accessory... while still having a few lv110 soldiery pieces that are not BiS....
I'm quite sure I know who is the casual here, if we have to label people...

First time I went into slaughter 72 man as a Black Mage, I was on PS3, I was a murderous monster and it was awesome, even while not seeing hardly anything at all because PS3 doesn't like loading anything. I don't see a need for a caster buff at all...

Casters are high risk high reward. They are not spearheads. I murder the shit out of a carefully and patiently chosen target then retreat at the first sign of trouble. Thats how you need to play caster.

They are just fine. You need a good party too.
