eVGA has always had meh Cust. Service. Only reason I really won't buy their products. After reading so many of the complaints about them from users on Newegg. Esk is still right while unfortunate.
Glad you fixed the issue though!![]()

Hi nasomi, this might've come up in the thread already.
It is definitely the gpu (gtx280). There's loads of bad cards out there that need to be replaced or scrapped, specifically the gtx280s.
Baking is a solution I am not comfortable with, but has resolved one person's issue.
As for me, I underclock my card to 620 just to use it without crashing, biding my time until a worthy successor is available for trade-n at MicroCenter (due to the cost, it's one of the few receipts and original boxes I keep track of.
Registered or not, does it matter who submits the claim for replacement? It's 2 years old, even if i were doing it for a friend, why does it matter who does it? the card is almost new. It's just evga not standing by their products. I don't see why it would matter who was submitting the claim.
I read about hte baking, and I don't have an oven, nor am I comfortable with process.
