    I need help with Level 30 archer macro

    Hi I have been playing for 7 weeks. My biggest weakness is looking for "useful" macros. I am level 34 archer now.
    Can someone post 4 or 5 "actual" macros you used ?
    e.g. macro for Straight shot, macro for heavy shot, macro for windbite , macro for venomous bite. I am struggling for 3 days now.

    Archer/Bard is not my primary... but I can tell you with great certainty that macros will hurt, not help you. Your DPS and overall effectiveness will drop when relying the macros which are not as fast as direct key input for queued action ability.

    The only macro (for bard) I have is a buff macro to keep my buffs up as much as possible.
    All other actions are lined up for rapid use by single key presses.

    Yeah for most jobs avoid macros. They do not help.

    I don't know what you think macros do, but they're not going to improve your skills - in fact, they'll deteriorate them. What you would possibly think you need to macro for Heavy Shot I can't imagine.

    As a Bard main I can tell you right now I don't use any macros... the only ones I even think of using is announcing when my songs are up, during some hectic battles.

    I used to use a macro with all my buffs on it but. Nope, not anymore.

    Having all classes on lvl 50 I have macroed only a handful skills:
    Eye for an Eye/Virus/Apo to use it while having tank or Boss targeted with <t> and <tt>
    Fairy Skills (Whispering Dawn + Succor / Whispering Dawn + Fey Illu / Silent Dusk on <t> <tt> <f>)
    And mainly a handful crafting macroes because I am to lazy to handcraft some lower crafts

    I have no DPS macroes and as others said as well they only reduce DPS as you loose the queueing effect

    The only macro I use on bard is one to tell the party I've just silenced a mob.

    /micon "Blunt Arrow"
    /p Blunt Arrow -> <t> <se.1>

    Bard is not really a job that needs macros.
