So.. Kinda silly, but can you still get an Onion Doublet set?

I know in 1.0 it was kind of.. random. You had to rely on luck and spam certain leves a lot and hope the gear popped from a chest. What about now? Any quests or leves that still have a chance at spitting it out?

It's a worthless gear set of course, but it's a cool novelty and.. eh.. I just got to thinking about it while staring at my Onion Helmet. lol

I don't know for certain on whether you can get it, but I can tell you that my Onion set will not go into the Armoire in the inn room. I am guessing that means that it is not currently obtainable. It seems to me like the kind of special item that would fit in there if you could get it in ARR.

Other things that will not fit but I think they should are the old holiday clothes, like the santa suit and egg hats. I figure again that it is because they are not obtainable in ARR, so no one thought to add them as a possible Armoire item.

Thing is, old CE items will go into it.. but new ones won't. Old swimgear goes into it, new doesn't. It's not consistent so this isn't necessarily the case. Though I do agree they need to fix this.

Ah, yes, I heard that the suits costing 15 ash didn't go into the Armoire. I didn't choose to buy those, at least not yet. =) The suits costing 3 ash did go in, which is an odd choice/oversight.

It's not inconsistent. New festival gear has *never* gone into the armoire until after the festival is over. Wait until the Moonfire Faire is done. There'll be a minor patch downtime, and then you'll be able to put the 15 ash swimsuit pieces into the armoire.

I think the LotA Onion gear is a better match for the helmet, personally. Of course, it is LNC/DRG only, so there's that.
