WHM doing level 50 stuff for the first time?

As far as videos go they are a nice reference for mechanics and how they can be handled but i kind of get frustrated with people and guides because some people treat them like some sort of gospel they must stick to no matter what. Even when somebody experienced suggests some strats that make things simpler for everyone some will be like "Mr.Happy's group does it this way so this is how we will do it" They can't think for themselves.

remembers me of my old t9 group :x they were running with the 3 green marks to the 3 spots in the middle. even if someone failed placing the red and yellow meteors before to the egde. instead of searching a new place for the green mark, they are just staying there, wiping the whole group. over and over again... everytime someone placed a meteor not correct in P1 i knew it is a wipe xD

This happened to me with T5 - Watched, studied MTQ's vid, went in sweating bullets.... and it was the only method I knew for reference. But, o fcourse, every time I went in to practice, the method people wanted were different... o_O

Lack of true utility and pure healing as its only sticking point is going to be a major negative in Heavensward when scholars and Astrologians will be recruited or raids will most likely make you have a backup healer at max level.

If I am baiting someone then how come white mages can stack with all their spells and SE purposely gimps scholars from being able to sync with each other. Itleast let scholars have a bonus boost to the potency of our pure heal side if we cast a spell on a person that has a galv shield from another scholar. It is silly stupid that duty finder will even let two scholars be in same group.

stoneskin and protect don't stack too. shields don't stack, HoTs do. if shields would stack, why not use 2 white mages with uhm... double stoneskin (36% shield) + double protect (+30% def and mdef) with double HoT on top of that? plus the nice burst and aoe heal... who needs a scholar then?
