Also, I especially agree with the OP's recommendation to make soldiery gear exchangeable for GC seals and desynthable. In my opinion, every piece of game in the gear should be desynthable. i135 gear exists, make that desynthable too. Why doesn't SE do this? They've never been concerned with players having to grind for something before.

I don't think they'll go two full months without another QoL patch, since Yoshi's last post seemed to imply they're close to master on the expansion, if not there already. What it will have? Who knows. Even one of OP's suggestions would make me happy, though.

Not removing the poetics cap is idiotic. Like, I have 4 classes I'd like to be great at and much of [insert class] needs Poetics gear. (DRG chest in particular)

Its to curb the player base's overall ilvl. People would just farm and farm and farm till all their jobs were i130 in preparation for Heavenward where i130 will last several levels. Understandable why players would want to do this, but also understandable why SE would want to avoid players doing it.

I'd say that would easily keep me subscribed while I work towards i130 on every class for the next two months. I'd love to have all my classes at the highest ilvl they could be.

I have all my battle classes to 50, it's gonna take a while to cap... probably somewhere around 2 months casually. And it'll get me hyped to relevel all to 60 on expansion.

You can do that with Final Coil, which is why it's a bit... weird. But, that said, I understand why they're keeping the cap on Poetics - some people won't have bought 3.0 and they need a tomestone to keep capped that's on the same tier as that expansion's current raid content. Just unfortunate for those of us around before 3.0 starts and still need the Poetics to get pieces for our alt jobs.

Except the amount of players who are actively in Final Coil is a LOT smaller than the overall player base that would benefit from uncapped Poetics.
