Its to curb the player base's overall ilvl. People would just farm and farm and farm till all their jobs were i130 in preparation for Heavenward where i130 will last several levels. Understandable why players would want to do this, but also understandable why SE would want to avoid players doing it.

and that makes it idiotic how? because you have to take more then a few weeks to gear a job? thats the idea behind keeping people subbed

I'd say that would easily keep me subscribed while I work towards i130 on every class for the next two months. I'd love to have all my classes at the highest ilvl they could be.

Okay, Soldiery gear being open for seal turn-ins, yes. Vote Reset... maybe, though apply it to everything and not just Steps of Faith, and it can only be applied in the first 20 minutes of content. I mean, bad luck happens and a little bit of it can send a run into the crapper pretty fast. Everything else, no. Just no. More drops from Darkness, sure, but not gear. Do what they did for Syrcus, make it other things aside from gear. Given the progression, maybe add Final coil items to the final chest of the run. Random choice between what the possessed harlot in Toll gives, with the twine and coat weighted more heavily than the tome. As for the sands and oil availability, you have several shots at those from Syrcus and Syrcus is barely hard now given it's not iL capped. And iL130 is still the highest level gear available so no on removing poetics cap. When we get iL140 is when we'll talk.

Also, seeing as the glamour system isn't available until level 50, I don't see the need to have 5 levels of prisms, for each type of craft. Since all five levels share the same recipe, it would make the system a bit less convoluted if there was only one level of glamour prism, for each craft.

gil sink and to give crafters something mundane to sell is the reason I always imagined.

Add ST gear to be turned in for seals along with Sol gear. Also make both desythnable.

You can do that with Final Coil, which is why it's a bit... weird. But, that said, I understand why they're keeping the cap on Poetics - some people won't have bought 3.0 and they need a tomestone to keep capped that's on the same tier as that expansion's current raid content. Just unfortunate for those of us around before 3.0 starts and still need the Poetics to get pieces for our alt jobs.

Except the amount of players who are actively in Final Coil is a LOT smaller than the overall player base that would benefit from uncapped Poetics.
