    And that's dumber than having the SAME skill rotation for every single fight? It's not like you can even mix things up because there aren't even any spells to mix things up with. What they've done as a result is turn every class into a dull grey area with no real identity of its own, borrowing a little taster of everyone else's in order to make it 'accessible'.

    Skills which were element based had advantages and disadvantages. It was never a catch-all solution, and some of the more creative bosses mixed up their elements during combat, forcing you to adapt on the fly. Some even absorbed various elements and used them for their own ends. It took away a huge portion of the game in my opinion, and a key element of gameplay which has been a staple since the NES days.

    Yes the elemental rock paper scissors have existed since day 1, but that was all single player games where balance doesn't matter as much, so you could get away with a lot of lulz worthy set ups. In an MMO theme, you can bet your butt that Square will slap everything with the balancing stick so people don't have it easy and blaze through content. You say that a boss that can change its elemental weakness adds strategy, but cynical me sees it as forcing a new rotation to keep up the MAD DEEPS. Even more so since every boss in this game runs on a script, so all anyone would be doing is playing simon says with a new board at each percentage threshold. We already seen what happened when content gets harder and forces people to think beyond rotations (thanks Steps of Faith!), so I won't count on elemental wheels coming back or at least coming back in the way people remembered it.

    Summoner for being the summoning class that does not at all feel summony relative to other FF games.

    Personally, Dissidia 012's Yuna was my favorite incarnation of a summoner anywhere ever.

    DRK, since it seems like they wont be using their health to boosts their attacks. Counter intuitive for a tank role.

    I thought the object of tanks was to take aggro and survive as long as possible? I don't think doing large pulls AND using an HP sacrificing skill would mix well together and you can forget doing speed runs with that.
