[Suggestion] SAMURAI

Well, if you read or watch any of the documentaries or samurai dramas of Miyamoto Musashi (foward to 27:50). He pretty much made dual use of the Katana and shorter side-sword a legitimate aggressive fighting style. So yeah dual katanas could very well be either a DD or offensive tank stance for samurai.

I wouldn't use that as a fact list.. Trust History channel to 'sell' history (not saying you were or not, the two sword part is real though). Certainly referencing history but I've already face desked a few times and I'm not even 30 minutes in.

Two swords sound fun~ How would you separate a single sword class from a two sword, like a Ninja one weapon comes in a pair? The single sword user would need something to set his weapon apart from the dual sword user and hopefully it was more than "one comes in a pair". Maybe Nodachi (Odachi) vs the medium and shorter companion?

I know, but I guess that's how they do documentaries now days. All the other films and life stories I've seen were all subtitled and I cant locate those online for reference. The others being various Japanese films about the guy, and those are slightly fictionalized as well. The last good one I remember seeing was a 26 episode drama that went up to his duel with Sasaki.

Oh, in that case thanks for at least getting us reference . You're right they all tend to have bias to sell*, but our Samurai ones are the most fun lol. We're in love with the romantic ideal - which is awesome and fine until we say that "was" the history. Would be one of my pet peeves that someone wants to sell a fun fantasy as a reality, with little or poor references (which happens all the time with the Samurai/Katana, not exclusive to this subject of course).
