WHM Relic Atma to Animus questions.

Hey guys, I decided to proceed with my WHM Atma weapon to the Animus one and I purchased the 1st book that gives MND+2 once it's completed. I was reading all the guides on wiki, reddit, etc and I couldn't find an answer, they all say that I need to complete 9 books.

Now, I see that the cat NPC in Mor Dhona has a lot of books to choose, some give STR, Determination, skill speed etc. What I want to know is:

-Do i need to complete all the books that she's selling, including the ones for STR, DEX, even tho those are stats that do not "matter" to my WHM or do I need to complete just 9 books, any books, and i can just select the stats that I want on my Relic?

I ask this too since I read that there's a cap on the skills that you can level on the relic weapon so I also would like to know what the best proper books to complete for this whm relic arma.

1.) The books only increase stats that are on the weapon itself. In this case MND, VIT, Spell Speed and Determination.

2.) Yes you need to complete all the books she has available for you before it can be upgraded to Animus.

3.) You don't get to choose the stats on your relic until Animus > Novus and even then you can't increase base stats like STR, VIT, DEX, INT or MND. Those are automatically upgraded when going from Animus to Novus stage and only the ones that are already on your relic. (In this case MND and VIT.)

oh awesome, thank you very much man. Since I've been reading all over for more info regarding this that's were I got confused so very much appreciated man. I was reading also that I can do like 3 Books of Fire (MND), 3 Books of Fall (VIT), 2 Books of wind (Determination) and 1 Book of Earth (Skill Speed), so those are the only ones that I'll be able to complete at this time?

Each relic has a preset amount of books per stat, there's no wrong way to finish them though doing the main stats first is a good idea as they have a bigger impact.

You'll get to 'mix it up' when you move onto the Animus to Novus stage. At that point you'll be able to choose stats to add to your weapon. Mind and Vitality are automatic stats and can't be altered but you can add critical, determination, piety and other such stats at your leisure. Just be aware that you'll need materia of increasing grades for higher values of a particular stat.
