    Debuffs not wearing off.

    Hello all!

I just had a reallllly frustrating bug in the game which resulted in me being pretty much nonfunctional during my guildleve with a friend. What happened was we died by accident (our first time in Mun-Tuy Cellars) because we set the leve on too high of a difficulty. So when we revived and walked back to the spot, we waited for our weakness to wear off. What happened next was really odd. His weakness wore off, but mine didn't. It just sat there flashing at 0:00 and my HP and MP were still lower. Also, my mana would not regen at all during this (even when in passive mode).

Not just weakness though. I decided to just try to heal and attack through the first weakness, so I used Spiritbind and some other abilities. Unfortunately, as soon as I used Spiritbind, I knew it was a mistake. Spiritbind would not wear off just like weakness, so I was stuck there forever. I had to kill myself again to see if that fixed it.

Unfortunately again, it did not. The second tier weakness (-50% stats) would not wear off either (and again, my mana would not regen). I would have relogged to see if this fixed it, but AFAIK, that would have made me fail my leve (which would have just been annoying). Finally we made it through all the mobs (after I died another 2 times due to unlucky guildleve mobs spawning and killing me with my 300 HP double weakened). =(

Anyways, I don't really have any other useful information. Hope someone knows what I'm talking about. XD I haven't relogged in to see if it is fixed because I was just frustrated after that and logged (about to go to bed now).

    Type of Internet Connection: DSL

Date & Time: Wednesday, September 7th, 2011; between 1:15-1:40am EST (I forget the exact time, unfortunately)

Frequency: Once (so far); I haven't had the opportunity to log back in to make sure the bug was gone

    Character: Naaros Tribal

    Race: Lalafell M

    World: Lindblum

    Class/Skill Rank: Rank 29 Thaumaturge

    Physical Level: 30

Area and Coordinates: Mun-Tuy Cellars (the caves in The Black Shroud); Happened at the crystal in that zone (do not have exact coordinates at this time, I'm sorry - will update post if I can get them)

Party: Party (1 other member besides myself) / Duo

In Game Time: I'm sorry, but I do not remember what in-game time this took place. =( It was late, and I was tired. I regret not taking a screenshot. ><

Steps: Well, my first post pretty much details what happened, but... We (my friend) and I died while on a guildleve, so we Return'ed back to the crystal in Mun-Tuy Cellars. After that, my weakness would not wear off - I was stuck with the -25% HP/MP debuff, and any buff or debuff that I put on myself (Spiritbind for example) would not wear off. They would all just be stuck at 0:00 remaining (flashing). Also, my mana would not regen at all - even in Passive mode. Thinking it might fix itself by dying again and resetting the weakness, I did so, but had the same results (wouldn't wear off). I didn't try relogging to see if that fixed it as that would have failed my leve.

    I hope this helps! =)
