Why do people say to not attack him before the white flash? I've been searching for so long for the reason and nothing comes up. I swear it seems like it does nothing.![]()

Because he has a very heavy Vulnerability Down buff until the white light takes it off of him. You'll do maybe 10% of the damage you usually do until the white light makes him lose it.
Everyonr does abysmally low damage, so you won't contribute anything. Worse yet, you'll likely bounce hate around because the tank can't get a solid lead on enmity, so it'll run all over the arena if folks attack.
Technically not possible. Relative Threat of Tanks and DDs will be the same, while Healers are the only class that will generate full threat. Best Case: Scholar Fairy has aggro - worst case: Another Healer as aggro.
There virtually isn't any negative effect of attacking him, just there also isn't any positive effect.
Save your TP/MP since you aren't really doing any damage anyway until after the light flashes. No need to be wasting buffs, etc either.
There probably isn't any good reason not to attack him any more before the flash... but it used to be that he was capable of killing a healer quite quickly with the tank being unable to get hate back because of what was mentioned earlier.
Run this for daily and just wait for the flash then snap aggro, most likely from the healer, occasionally I get that awesome sch that moves fairy to where I would be tanking anyways![]()
