Commendations in frontlines

What I like about healing in PVP is that you're working to counter the efforts of an entire team... when I'm on DPS I'm usually battling a small number of players/objectives at a time... but when I'm on Scholar, it's like I'm playing chess against 6 different people at once and when you can outplay them all and render their best efforts moot, it's very satisfying. Like last night in my Slaughter match I helped win where only the other healer and I commended each other... I survived a melee LB from a dragoonand and went in Attunement while he futilely tried to wipe out my remaining 10% HP... I marked him for the team to target while he poked me with a nerf spear, and he died vs me. Plus 1 kill for us, +0 kills for them, -100% for their DRG's LB bar. I didn't get the kill shot myself on healer, but nevertheless I outplayed the other team there even if the only person who realizes it is me.

It is a lot harder to notice what people do sometimes that's for sure compared to pve content, I do enjoy healing most of the times although a few sour moments. Q as ninja, no healer present no one will switch so I go whm. Alls going well apart from this one monk who decides he can solo a whole team, I get myself in range (leaving me vulnerable) pop some cures he then shoulder tackles out of range whilst at 50‰ HP then proceeds to call me a shit healer.

I often go with tank and i only "feel fear" the other teams dps and protect the zone so dps could gain points killing the spots or if any dps or even tank go throuth "our" territory i expulse it or kill if enemy don't come back. If sometimes the enemie team attacks me in masse 10 seconds of invulnerability and cause the most problems as i can to not let them go near healers and our own dps, usually won and i have one or two comendations.

I suppose if you're a gambler and its past the 5(?) minute mark you could say- well looks like this party isn't big enough for both of us, either he goes, or I go. And then you vote dismiss him for harassment and if it fails, quit and let the party see the value you had provided with no healer on board. Haven't done that yet but it's a tantalizing thought.

I usually give commandation to Good healer that can keep a ( Sucidal Melee ) like me alive, and let me run WILD..!

aaaand for Tanks that help me finish off a target aaaand for casters that know when / who to LB.

Yep i tend to leave early as a match finish, because before that i would be mashing my controler buttons hitting a target , so by the end i hit leave by accident before giving commendation to someone :<

There are lots of nice things a healer can do when he's free such as Bind melees and weight marked healers / high/fevered dps.

I'd say it's rather easy to get commendation as healer unless you totally fuck up, even because it's kinda hard to keep everyone alive if you play with wandering dps (know what i mean? xD). Infact the problem is often with dps wandering around far from healing range, or runnning behind pillars, chasing others without looking at their hp. You often get the blame when dps split and you can't heal them all.

Healers don't do miracles, dps job is killing and scoring yes, but also staying alive, and watch their own hp, ensure they are in healing range and run when they are focused.

I also only play WHM in pvp and i give my commendation mostly to useful tanks/healers. If both arent the case then i give it to the best dps. In general, i really enjoy to play WHM in slaughter. I think as healer you can contribute the most to a frontlines match. Last night we won a game in 24 man slaughter and i had the most kills (4) in my group as WHM.

Yeah well I usually give Commendation to friends I know they play well OR in exceptional cases, to someone who really did something who caught my attention ( lol PLD covering me in a difficult situation for example )
