Dissidia Cross Over Event?

I'm a huge fan of the Dissidia series and was delighted to find that a new game in the series is being made for arcades and then PS4, this time starring Y'shtola as the FF14 representative.

My question is do you think we'll have a cross over event to celebrate its release?

Personally I love the thought of some sort of side story with Y'shtola getting sucked into the Dissidia world where we have to try and bring her back by fighting other Final Fantasy characters, maybe as Fate style bosses?

What do you guys think? Would you like this to happen? Do you think it's likely? Would you have chosen another character to represent Eorzea? Would love to know your thoughts.

i hope it's a PVP event, since it's final fantasy characters beating each other up..

they can use the place they fought in at the very first dissidia trailer (half cosmos, half chaos)

in case that everyone hates PVP, they can just make you fight mannequins or something..

You're making me want to explain how the crossover actually works in Dissidia, but I think that sort of spoiler would be frowned upon.

All the crossover events so far have had back story written into the lore. I think it would be extremely difficult to make up story for so many different characters from so many different games with different backgrounds. Though fighting them would be really cool, I don't see this as likely. I mean, who doesn't want to take their FFXIV character and fight someone like Sephiroth with it?! There weren't many good choices to represent Eorzea, so I think Y'Shtola was an okay pick. I would have liked Gaius myself. Not to be too spoiler-y, but most of the NPCs in the storyline especially in the Scions seem so useless as you go about the game and do all the work for them. Thancred probably would have been the only other choice, but I don't think you could make an original character with his abilities.

What else I would like to see for crossovers:
- Turks from Final Fantasy VII
- Espers from Final Fantasy VI
- Lavos from Chrono Trigger. Or maybe Magus. Or maybe some cool futuristic thing with Robo and Lucca.
- Anything from Final Fantasy Tactics
- Anything from Brave Fencer Musashi
- Anything from Vagrant Story

A colosseum event (trial) with some strange otherworlders making an appearance. Scions hear of mysterious circumstances around it, send Y'ahtola (and the WoL) to scope it out. Or something.

After getting captured at the end of 2.55, Y'shtola demands trial by combat, or is forced to fight for her freedom.

Gods forfend, I'm starting to wish Yoshi had never even ran the FFXI, FFXIII and DQ events now because it's made it that people will pretty much demand a crossover event for every game SE has ever released or will release, no matter how ridiculous it might be. *rolls eyes*

While it would be neat. As much as i loved dissidia and 012 i don't want a dissidia event (not sarcasm about loving dissidia, I played the crap out of them. Jecht and Prishe are my mains).

Dissidia itself is a crossover game, if there are to be any more crossover events it should be for proper installments to SE games like how they did it for FFXI, LRFFXIII, and DQ.

If we fight with/against an SE character from another game it should be for say a remaster of FFXII, or the release of FFXV. Maybe heartless invade through the void for a KH3 event? :P (crossover game, i know. Doesnt need to include Disney or FF characters though haha).
