Retainer can't sell curtain weapons. What to do?

My retainer is unable to sell certain items (although I'm sure this is common knowledge. For instance, I have an archanist's grimoire and my character doesn't use that class. So, if my retainer can't sell it, what should I do with it? I'd hate to discard it, but it's useless to me.

You could try to sell it to you grand company for seals

Items can be flagged as untradeable; for dungeon drops, this is often the case. Once you are above a certain rank in your grand company, "Expert Delivery" becomes available and these items can be traded for seals.

You can also keep it just in case you ever want to level that class.

If I were you, I would keep it until you can turn in items to your GC for seals.

As people said above hand in green and blue gears/weapons you dont need to GC for seals or if you are leveling desynthesis they are nice there as well (desynth makes addictive D: )
