Wrong. Not everyone has them.
The problem is is that there are some douchebags that will use tools, such as parsers, as a bludgeon instrument to stroke their e-dick.

You're right. This whole discussion is pointless for the most part. People that care about it already have parsers. Even if they introduced an in-game dps meter of some sort, people would still use a 3rd party parser because i'm sure it would still offer more. All these people scared of them because they think their bad dps would be revealed does not matter. People that care already see their bad dps.
The only legitimate complaint on the topic would be that console users don't have access to a parser.
