I see a comment like this and before even going to your lodestone I can tell you're rocking full poetics gear and don't raid until you over-gear the content by 20 ilvls and echo is introduced.
This isn't about "I". Try gain a little perspective.
Speaking of perspective, I think it should be noted that you're just as guilty of the "I" argument. For starters, you're not even considering the perspective of how it affects the stability of players outside of highest tier endgame, which is exactly where the inevitable problems would occur. This player base (or any collective really) will, without a single doubt, take advantage of tools made available to misuse and abuse the system or others. If it's purely about the endgame use, parsers already exist and SE is okay with it, they just won't officiate its use. Why do you need them to officially allow it when they already accept that people do? Why do you want to remove the only safeguard players have in content that doesn't even need it? Why are you ridiculing others outside of this content the content it's primarily used for? You are the very problem people have against parsers, you just don't realize it because of your perspective on the matter.

How does it currently effect the stability of players outside of endgame when non-console users that want to parse already parse? Unless you're saying that the state of the community is already in chaos with people getting kicked due to lack of performance en mass then that argument has no bearing because again, any nonconsole user that wants to know their DPS already is using ACT or XIVAPP. Despite that, community as it stands based on your statement is peachy.Speaking of perspective, I think it should be noted that you're just as guilty of the "I" argument. This comes down to availability. Currently if you want to participate in endgame as a console user, youhave to rely on PC users for analysis. PC users that want to already do, Console users that want to can't.
If they already parse, they cannot let on publicly that they are parsing information. If parsers were made official, not only would more advanced parsers be favored by PC players, it would throw open the doors to public decisions and restrictions based on that information. PF invites, speed runs, LS requirements, the new person in a roulette party? Vote kicked, because statistics show they cannot perform to the party's perceived satisfaction, never mind their gear or actions. How does it currently effect the stability of players outside of endgame when non-console users that want to parse already parse? You can already do all those things, you just can't explicitly state that you're doing them with the in-game chat. Allow parsers and I assure you that the rise in "kicked for low dps" reports will correspond with a sudden drop in mystery kicks. At least people will know what's going on.If they already parse, they cannot let on publicly that they are parsing information. When in doubt, assume sarcasm
That's cuz I don't care for Coil gear. Does that make me a bad player? Did I have the luxury of having a static back than? Being overgear doesn't mean jack to insta kill mechanics. Do I play competitively? Do I care how I approach a fight? All answers to these questions are No because I don't care what anyone thinks on how I play.
None of this is relevant to the fact that you have no perspective on DPS checks, raiding , or parsers. You can be ignorant of everything but you don't really add much value to this conversation by saying "I play how I want".That's cuz I don't care for Coil gear. Does that make me a bad player?
