the 1% lol, so many things wrong with this line of thinking. So let's hold back the game because people don't want their feelings hurt?
Boo hoo. Step up and take advice and we wouldn't even be having this discussion. There are people out there that want to better themselves and theorycraft rotations and DPS numbers within a raid, but those things cannot even be discussed because SE took the easy way out and is banning everyone discussing numbers to begin with.
Everyone else is being punished because some (few) people cannot handle being called out by some random asshole over the internet. Give me a break. Don't half ass the parser. Give us one that works with the group/raid, or don't even do it and hide behind the pathetic "drama" excuse like they always do when this comes up. There is no way around it.
Do your job right, or don't do it at all.
A solution that helps everyone is better than something that alienates the player base.
Also all the end game raiding in this game literally = mechanics > than all
Hoarders gonna Horde.
There is no solution that helps everyone.
A solo parser only helps the person using it. You don't know if that person is telling the truth or not (I do 300 DPS rite? l0l). It takes the trolling that already goes on in PF and makes it worse.
So no, your "fix" does not fix anything. This is like giving the passenger seat in the car their own steering wheel that controls the right side because they "are bored while driving". Let them discuss the directions right? It makes no sense and doesn't fix anything at all.
The "solution" would be to listen to the player base and just put one in and let everyone else sort it out. If you can't even do the content's level of DPS, you shouldn't even be there to begin with.
Do you even PF bro? There is no solution that helps everyone.

Clearly you don't. I can hold your hand and google the amount of PF trolling for you if you wish.
It is clear your argument is invalid at this point as you have nothing constructive to reply with. Bad tanks and healers get called out all the time for not playing correctly. The soft hearted DPS can either step it up and play progression or stay in older content until they are good enough to do so. We're asking for the tools to help other people with, and to punish those who don't want the help, yet are trying to sneak by. Being able to hide behind a lame excuse and ToS doesn't help that matter.
But hey, spam Butcher's Block if you wish.

DPS is just as important as mechanics.
Watch any of the world first t12 or t13 clears and see how close they cut it to enrage, even groups long after the first clears beat those fights as enrage was happening, DPS is very important, the balance is maximising DPS while doing mechanics.
If a job that is meant to be doing damage is not doing damage then they do not belong in the raid.
Dude World firsts are because they are at the bare minimum gear requirements that dps matters. After that its way easier to hit enrages/dps checks.DPS is just as important as mechanics.

But again to my point, anyone in a World First raid group, isn't going to lie about their dps numbers to their group, if they could see their own dps. So again seeing only your own dps would still work.
Hoarders gonna Horde.

DPS never stops mattering, DF t13 and get 4 DPS all doing sub 300 and tell me that you can clear it, identifying problems and removing them (or even fixing them) is a key part of building a strong team that can clear content.Dude World firsts are because they are at the bare minimum gear requirements that dps matters. And this would become just as much as a problem considering we have FCoB on DF/PF. Even for my static's first clear, we were pushing the 5th akh morn. Granted I know beyond a doubt that all the dps in my static knows their job and can do well, but there's the off chance that a PF party would lug a not-so-great or bad dps that they're hitting 4 megaflares or a 5th flare star whatever.
You, like the others that oppose this idea haven't experienced end game raiding at it's most difficult because you attempt the content when you over-gear it and when it's fully nerfed with echo. You still haven't completed FCOB so how are you downplaying raiding to just mechanics? You don't understand what it is to not meet a DPS check because you rarely if ever attempt content when it comes out.
More access to the information doesn't open the door to abuse because the people you are currently worried about that kick for under performing already have access to the information and do it.
Where are your savage clears
LOL
Since I havn't beaten the final turn must mean I suck. At no point is a dps meter going to get my past T13 i will say that. If you would read my posts, I am clearly in favor of having in game dps. I just don't buy the argument that everyone needs to see it. It can easily be shared, by people who are raiding together on a regular basis. Which is clearly the majority if not all World First Clears.
The point is what you assumed about me is irrelevant to the discussion. If you really want a full in game dps meter. Then you should be for my proposal which will pave the way for such an implementation. Seeing your own DPS in game is a huge step towards the very thing all of you are calling for. And would have literally 0 negative consequences.
Hate to say it, but haters gonna hate.
Hoarders gonna Horde.
