DPS display could easily be solved with a system already in game.

Simple solution to any "drama" issue; Have it display at the end of a successful dungeon/trail/raid and make it an option in the Character Configuration. If you select to see your numbers, it lists your numbers at the end. If you don't, it doesn't and nobody can see your numbers. Problem solved. Heck, just make the whole thing a personal venture by only having it show your personal numbers and let us share numbers if we want.

I like this compromise. I always thought that DPS meters should be used for personal improvement only, because comparing e-peen just sets people up for drama.
