I don't want to fully disconnect with the rest of the community like I have already with DF/PF on Raids.
Take my DPS 'Seriously'?. I just enjoy a different aspect of the game than you do. I like end game raiding and competing with others. It's a game, I do what's fun. Not what's serious.
Why do you have to be hardcore? My static went twice a week with some other nights thrown in the mix if we were all online and we got FCOB down. Hardly hardcore raiding.
I also join in plenty of kill groups just for the hell of it, help out in other PF groups and I don't hold myself above any of the community.
I personally don't believe a parser would do that, as I have said before, it's just a tool. If the person who uses that tool is a complete jerk then so be it, but he would've been that guy screaming at you anyway for anything he could see. Parsers have absolutely NO place outside of end game raiding, so anyone shouting at others in things like experts/WoD is just being a moron, but in end game how you perform your class actually does matter, to say otherwise is just plain wrong and the fact that only 15% or so of the playerbase have cleared FCOB prove that.

Forgive me if I took this the wrong way, but it sounds to me like you're stating if you're into the whole DPS parsers and end game then you must be some sort of hardcore no lifer who treats the game like a job and not for fun and that's just ridiculous. I just get my fun from doing hard raids and working with a group of people and trying to max out my class, rather than chocobo racing and WoD.
