    "If this wall could talk"

Anyone who tries to run through this fate is either level 50, or a dead man in ten seconds. I was able to count 25 Ice Sprites in one small cluster at one point, let alone the stragglers roaming around.
The aggro range is huge, they hit incredibly hard for their level, take a shockingly long time to die for simple sprites, and are overall just very annoying. And it may just be my luck seeing the fate, but it always seems like you have to kill fifty to end the fate. While I like seeing people work together, it seems to be a teamwork effort to power through a chore rather than any measure of fun or reward. It's inconveniently placed so that anyone using the area for Leves has to abstain for 15 minutes, and... just, sigh. What was Square thinking with this one?

Same thing they were thinking when they made you kill 5,675 Dragonflies in Judge, Jury and Executioner.

Or needing to kill Lutin in a Freeze is Coming, but always having The Eyes Have It pop in its place and sit there for 30 minutes over and over and over instead.

Or the (original un-nerfed) Four Winds where each of the four bosses were full-level FATE strength enemies in and of themselves and almost impossible to kill even with people helping within the time limit.

Or The Storm Caller with his 100x strength Stoneskin he casts over and over.

Or Tower of Power which spawns in the middle of nowhere and requires you to be standing in the middle of nowhere ready to catch that NPC when he drags himself out of the bushes.

Lotta dumb FATES in that area.

Could it be possible that part of the reason is fate scaling? That is, somewhere in the zone there is horde of fate goers doing some other fates which leads every fate being scaled to said horde in mind. I have seen it before, a fate which was easily and sensibly doable solo/light party became death trap at another time, and was only completed when the fate horde rolled around to do it.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

I am not doubting your answer, just for the start.
So the FATE scaling is not for each fate but it includes every FATE on the map?
Untill now I thought that difficulty of each FATE is based on the amount of people doing that FATE.

There is no real FATE scaling for this one. Even if you try to kill them one at a time they still take a long time to kill and still hit hard.

To my best understanding, yes it's zone wide, or at least affects way wider area than the single fate only. I have most witnessed it in Coerthas. It's indeed possible to try scaled fate alone without seeing/hearing/noticing that somewhere there is a fate hunter mob that causes the scaling.
