Whats your favorite and/or hated job/class story quests?

Just curious to see what the community's favorites are.

Granted i have only done puglist, lancer, dragoon, rogue, and ninja.

I loved the rogue and ninja job quest the best - really good storyline and the missions / cut scenes were really awesome. IMO I think they did a great job on rogue/ninja storyline. Can''t wait to see the new jobs' story lines.

my 2nd fav was lancer especially the last fight.

    So whats your thoughts?

The Fishers guild had me in tears with plot, and character development.

I think my two favorite class story quests were Leatherworker and Armorer. Both of them were about putting crafters in their place: One was ripping people off with rubbish quality while the other was being a mightier-than-thou elitist. The end of both storylines were very satisfying.

As for Jobs, I really liked the Scholar storyline because it really told the story of what happened in the Wanderer's Palace and the sheer amount of lore packed into that storyline was very impressive!

My least favorite was Lancer and Dragoon both. So much unnecessary angst.

I liked the CNJ/WHM storyline from beginning to end and it was perfect for my character concept With it's balances of life and death and the elementals. I liked Sophie and her story too because it really helped illustrate why that balance is required. And then with white mage you are "chosen" elevated despite your race to learn an art that was involved once with sending the world into Calamity.

Also love the SCH storyline... Tonberries rule and are so tragic... WANDERE'S PALACE FOREVER!

*CNJ to WHM story plot since Gridania was my starter City state, so it was interesting from a Lore POV.
*Followed by GLD to PLD, gotta love those monetarists making the plot more intriguing.

LTW was my favorite of all crafter story line, I loved Geva's constructive criticism throughout. She also has one of my favorite lines where she says she'd love to skin someone so that they could then turn that into shoes so that she can walk on them quite litterally.

    Least:
*While the ending was touching, the who "courage" thing got boring.
*MNK the scholar was annoying and the MNK didn't teach me the skills. I was hoping to learn more about Ala Mhigo and its monks....but that wasn't the case. Maybe 3.0 will touch upon that?

Goldsmith all the way for me. That last cutscene cracked me up harder then anything else in this game - besides the ridiculous hilidbrand cutscenes. And that automaton is cute isnt it? Oh boy yes it is, good boy now make me some earrings! *puts on talk to doggy voice*
Second placed right after: Fisher - hell yeah, that dude only worked hard to become guildmaster so he could eat every kind of fish he wanted every day.... dont tell me otherwise <.< that was his one and only reason >.>

Least interesting for me: PLD/DRG/MRD/MNK - tragic <addpersonnamehere> that goes suddenly nuts between the development of lvl 45 and lvl 50 story because of whatever reason and needs to be put in place - eh reused content much? >.>

I liked the healer stories most CNJ/WHM/SCH - maybe because I play a healer myself.

Last liked: MRD - hit a rock - 10 level later: hit a bigger rock - lvl 30: kill a cow. So underwhelming.

PLD quests were incredibly boring, just like the job.

I loved the LNC/DRG quests and so far I've been enjoying the ARC ones as well because of the insight they provide into the nature of Gridania and Coerthas, plus the DRG lore in the case of DRG. They feel like actual stories as opposed to just quests randomly strung together.

Least favorite so far has been MRD and PGL. I've only gotten halfway through them, but so far there's been nothing that has really hooked me or made me care about the characters involved. With MRD it's just sort of like "you vow revenge against this monster who killed this kid's family even though you've never seen the monster or met the kid's family"... why? What reason is there for my character to care so much beyond the game telling us to?
