Why i can pre order heavensward download version at Greece ?

Hi all i just want to ask something....Im from Greece and i try to preorder Heavensward from digital version and still i can't do it....i want to know the game will come to greece or not??? Because all the countries from the list to preorder it are from USA... Also if i have not the game i will still be able to play or not.... Need to know that cause if i cant play anymore i must stop pay every month.... It is a global game so i think that every country must have the opportunity to download the version..please inform me thank you

Don't you have to pick the country according to the server/data center you are playing in?

Example: I play on Faerie, which is located in the US, so I have to buy an US version, no matter where I live?

Could it be that you are at the NA store of SE? (Because you can only select USA countrys)

I remembered seeing a thread about this a little while ago and looked it up for ya. On the third page, someone posts a link to a store where you might be able to find a copy in Greece.

The data center and server you play on don't matter at all when buying. I'm in the US, I bought the game in the US, and therefore my account is NA. I could go make a character on the JP servers in 2 seconds and it wouldn't change that. JP Heavensward would still be incompatible with my game even if I played exclusively on a JP server, though, because what matters is the region your account is. If you bought FFXIV in North America and made an account with it, your account is NA (permanently), and incompatible with a Japanese Heavensward even if you move to Japan and play on a Japanese server.
