Slowly the death spiral of MMO'ing goes from actual thought, planning, researching builds, obtain and manage varies gear (anyone else remember MUDs?)... to face-smash button mash being optimal strategy towards one set so brain power can go towards people complaining about not having XYZ-fluff NOW on some forum/blog some where. If a game doesn't allow someone to manage their smart phone, social media, and texting WHILE playing the game... the game is deem'd too difficult and a failure. You millennials are so adorably naive.
If a dev is reading.. please add complexity. 'Epic' didn't die because it was over used term... it died because every game lately has been linear, dull, boring, SIMPLE. Fruit on the ground, yes it easy to get but over ripe if not spoiled rotten ... gotta climb for the good stuff, gotta climb for that sweet satisfaction.
Well given the depth of his argument, managing accuracy should be challenging enough for him at least
As for me, yeah, i would like some REAL choices. As i said, spellspeed / skillspeed has much more potential to offer meaningful tradeoffs. The current implementation is just wrong though, much too weak. SS should be the best secondary stat since you are reducing your sustainability by stacking it. Instead, det and crit offer similar to better increases point for point, so that everyone and their mom is avoiding those stats like hell.
