Does instant transportation effect game immersion?

DNO, just because "your allowing me" to keep the option, doesn't mean it's not breaking my immersion. It's taking my option to be immersed when you make traveling on an airship optional. I explained it already.

Are you understanding me though? I mean really? Cause it does feel like I'm wasting my time now. Especially since out of all the transportation threads created, not one dev has intervened. lol that sucks

Because they read this and laugh loudly saying:
"Why is this person asking us to remove EVERYTHING we're trying hard to put into the game, that has been asked for, for the sake of immersion when every other MMO already has it and they never get some whiney person griping that their mini-map/mount/transport/shoes/banana/hat/low crafting skill/fishing pole is ruining the games immersion?"

THIS is why they do not post in here.

If you want immersion, go dive into a swimming pool.

You keep asking for immersion though. Easiest way to immerse yourself is in water.

You do keep asking for things to be removed though, there is a middle ground to this, it's called 'toggle options'. People who want to keep something for the purpose of practicality or usefullness want some of these things.
People who want to look at a screen without a tonne of clutter can turn them off.
Heck what'd be easier is if they made a simple toggle that turned off the entire UI so you couldn't see anything, no health bar, no mp bar, no mini-map, no action bar, nothing at all, just your character and your surroundings. Would that make you happy then? (and sorry if I sound aggressive typing that, I've got a half-rolled cigarette infront of me demanding I finish rolling it )

I'm pretty sure they won't allow PvP fights inside the weavers guild, and if I weren't in there you'd have a real hard job finding me. See, I like to explore, so I know lots of little nifty areas I can hide in that lots of people don't even know exists.

Pretty sure I could pick a cave out of the list of about... 20 to 30 caves I know of throughout Thanalan and La Noscea and hide in one of those... and did a bit of weaving.

As it is, for the active explorer, this world is pretty immersive.
