Does instant transportation effect game immersion?

then its safe to say thats your opinon. But it is not fact. If thats your opinion then thats fine. However there is no proof that going from one city to another in a insta airship is duming down of the game because there is no difficulty in waiting on a ship vs insta ship. you can stand by it and thats fine but it does not make sense to me and many others.

Dumbing down means the system before it was more complex. In this case or insta ship vs 5 min ship is waiting more complex to you?

It is dumbing it down because it removes from it the very nature that it's supposed to reflect, it's more of a teleport than an airship ride now. Is that true or not?

Airship ride is just that, it's irrelevant how you perceive it as you described it above, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. That's not the topic of our argument. It's about dumbing it down even further, and certainly, it is being dumbed down with this insta port implementation because while it is named Airship, it is in reality a teleport.

Saying it was made faster isn't an accurate description. In reality, it was removed all together, there is no Airship ride at all now and as a result it wasn't just made faster, it was made instant.

As for complexity, although i wouldn't go as far as labeling an Airship ride complex, though it is certainly more complex to follow a flight schedule and follow some procedure of riding the Airship, instead of talk to npc, hit button, appear in new city.

I agree with you 100%. Skipping a CS (thats what SE said we could do not just press a button and be there) is not complex nor is waiting on an airship. We need to look at battles and puzzles and raids to be complex not travel. I will never agree with Waiting being complex or skipping the wait to be less complex because thats silly. One is just faster.
