That takes the adventure right out of the game.

The warp system is like implementing a cheat into the game. I don't even think it was ever intended. For all intensive purposes it seemed like they intended guildleves to warp you to their leve crystals and back to town, and just stuck anima in there when they had to release the game before they had time to stick chocobos and airships in.

Just like being able to hold 9999 items was NEVER intended and was a temporary fix. This game stuck in a lot of fixes that were like cheats until they could implement the proper mechanisms, and then just decided to leave things that way so people wouldn't complain.
Lol. No, all those were drastically needed fixes and nothing like cheats. Someone being able to warp you to Mor'Dhona has no effect of the adventure of the game. It is a choice, personally I ran there and I could have had someone from my LS port me just he same but I wanted to make the run because it was something to do. I understand though that not everyone sees that as being fun or say someone just hit 50 and they wanted to come join you and if they never been out there then all the sudden just like many times in FFXI people got left out of things because they never been to that area and didn't know how to get there so they couldn't come join you in the event til they find someone to guide them out to that point to unlock the ability to teleport there. I guess that to you is a sense of adventure but to me that is a complete waste of time. They don't want this game to be FFXI+3, they want a new game that is different than their other MMO sure it has some similarities but overall it is completely different. Also I don't ever remember them saying making the stacks of items 999 or having more space was ever a temporary fix. They said they wanted to make it that way on purpose because the current system at the time sucked. You complain about everything that is making this game a better game overall and I can't comprehend that form of thought or opinion. Especially since the developers said from the start FFXIV is going to be more casual friendly and cater or all types of players and if you want the more hardcore experience to stick to or try FFXI.
