Graphical Lag Spike when specific abilities used...

I'm filing this under a bug, because I haven't determined the cause myself.
For the Record, this only happens in a Dual GPU setup, and does not occur when running with a single GPU. I can run the game at Maximum in single GPU mode with no issue. The problem still persists, although not as extreme, when I turn the settings down to Laptop-Standard in Dual GPU.

Problem:
Playing as lancer class, the first ability you get, True Thrust, causes a severe drop in frames and then they pick back up immediately after. I haven't encountered this with any other abilities.
I have not observed any other anomalies as a result of using dual GPU yet...
Frequency:
This happens every time, I log and monitor the fps with Fraps, and it reduces by about 30-40 frames for almost 1.5 - 2 seconds. I have been trying different combinations of settings(for hours now), yet nothing on it's own is solving the issue.

World: not that it makes a difference, but I'm playing on the Zalera server.
