Transfers operate on their own lockouts specific to their system/service and not the general character creation lockout.

I can also vouch for this. My friend wanted to transfer to Tonberry but it was NOT available on several occasions that she checked. Transferring is not 100% guarantee you will be able to do so straight away.

Popping in to say that Zalera is also beginning to see a rise in an RP community If you end up popping by you can join the LS "Zalera RP Coalition" to meet some folks before you join a new FC. In the Zalera forums there was also a young Lalafell with a similar LS called "Red Lotus Society," so you can check out that too.

I got into Gilga in the evening. Dont always have to wait til 2am to 7am. Just go to char creation and the server select screen. If Gilga or whatever server u want isn't open just hit refresh. Can hit it every 3 min to see if the server is open. Once it is transfer. Id suggest just doing when you are watching a show or something, so u not jsut sitting there looking at server select screen lol

Maya you can transfer your character to Balmung if you are trying to create a new character with your current name for a name change i would be happy to help you i'm up all hours
also im not a RP'er just on balmung leave a message here before 4 am PST if thats what u want to do with the name u dont want any longer if that is your problem
you can always transfer your character if creation is locked just beaware that balmung will be hard to log into during the xpac so either set up remote acess on your phone so you can start logging in when you
leave work.

FFXIV doesn't have any official RP servers. Maybe if more people ask for it they would add some.
